Rebecca Baker is a Zürich-bred, London-based actor, writer and producer working across theatre, original film and screen-based storytelling.
She is the creator and lead of Drowning, a psychological drama proof-of-concept - executive produced by Nicholas Pinnock and produced in partnership with PTSD UK, with full post-production sponsorship from Lipsync Post House - currently being developed as a feature. A BIFA-qualifying film festival panelist, Rebecca is also the co-founder of Cut + Roll Films, a production company established alongside producer Alice Duke to develop films with psychologically rich storytelling that tackle stigma.
As an actor, Rebecca recently finished filming Silo S3 (Apple TV) and Dear England (Leftbank Pictures), both set for release in 2026. Her screen credits include Juice (BBC), Flying (Blue Muse Productions), Moishe (Midnight Runners) and Hamdardi (Taba Productions), with the latter being long-listed for the 97th Academy Awards. Her stage work includes a nine-month lead in London’s West End production of The War of the Worlds (Layered Reality), The Network (National Theatre), Romeo + Juliet (Secret Cinema), and The Unreturn of Lydia Osborn (Summerhall, Edinburgh), which she co-wrote and associate produced.
Rebecca’s producing slate includes Scratching Post, directed by BAFTA, BIFA and Oscar longlisted filmmaker Louisa Connolly-Burnham, alongside The Front Seat by Aella Jordan-Edge and body-horror Animal by Angelica Gayle as Executive Producer. In December 2025, she produced the music video for Olly Murs and The Ordinary Boys’ Christmas release Christmas Starts Tonight.
